EscapeNFly ("we", "us") operates escapenfly.com and our AI travel planning assistant, Maya, available on this website and WhatsApp. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
What we collect
- Information you give us directly: your name, phone number, and details about your trip (destination, travel dates, number of travellers, budget) when you chat with Maya or contact us.
- Conversation content: the messages you send to Maya, so we can understand your trip and connect you with the right EscapeNFly consultant.
- How you found us: if you arrive from an advertisement, a search result, or a campaign link, we record that campaign information and the page you landed on. See "Cookies, analytics and local storage" below.
How we use it
- To have a useful conversation about your trip and give relevant guidance (visa requirements, budget estimates, destination advice).
- To connect you with an EscapeNFly travel consultant who can prepare a detailed itinerary and quotation.
- To maintain a record of your enquiry in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, so you don't have to repeat information across conversations or visits.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. To operate our service, some information is processed by:
- Anthropic (the AI provider powering Maya's conversation) — processes your messages to generate responses.
- Our cloud database provider — securely stores your enquiry and conversation data.
- WhatsApp Business API providers — if you contact us via WhatsApp.
- Google Analytics — measures site usage in aggregate, as described below.
These providers act on our behalf and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
Cookies, analytics and local storage
Our website uses your browser's session storage to keep your conversation with Maya continuous while you have the page open, and to remember how you arrived at the site during that visit. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages people visit, and how they found us. This sets cookies in your browser. We do not use it to build advertising profiles or to identify you personally.
If you reach us by clicking an advertisement or a campaign link, the site records the campaign information in that link — including standard campaign tags (for example utm_source) and the click identifiers Google and Meta add (gclid, fbclid) — along with the page you landed on and the site that referred you. If your enquiry then becomes a lead, this is stored alongside it so we know which campaign it came from. It tells us where an enquiry originated; it is not used to track you across other websites.
How long we keep it
Active conversation memory is generally retained for 24 hours to keep a conversation coherent. If your enquiry becomes a lead in our CRM (for example, once you share contact details), that record is retained as part of our normal business records, consistent with how any travel agency maintains customer and booking history.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below. We'll respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
